Meet the 2010 Cast                      


 

 

Endora Allen (MOTHER) is a native of Delaware.  She has been singing for 17 years in the USA and abroad with choirs such as Wilmington Chester Mass Choir.  She’s a member of Worldwide Outreach Restoration and Deliverance Church in NJ.  Endora will amaze you with her strong alto voice and outgoing personality.  She loves to bowl, sing and study God’s word, one of her favorite scriptures is Psalms 119:133-135

 

Priscilla Frazier-Artist (SIS. CORA SMITH) a 20-year veteran actress has been in several plays, including: “It’s Praying Time” and “Raisin in the Sun”.  She uses her creativity consistently at Word Alive Worship Center in the Children’s Ministry and in the Mime Ministry.    Priscilla also has experience creating sets and wardrobes.

 

Anthony Bailey II a.k.a. “Chip” is serving as the MUSICAL DIRECTOR for the production.  In High School he attended Cab Calloway Performing Arts School acting in various plays including “Annie” and “You’re a good man Charlie Brown”.  He just graduated from University of Delaware with a double major and sang in the Gospel Choir.  Chip is also a minister, singer and musician playing the piano and saxophone, as well as an accomplished song writer and composer.  He too is a member of Word Alive Worship Center.

 

Arielle Burton (REBECCA) is a 16-year old junior at William Penn High School.  She has had the dream of acting since she was a child.  Arielle has been apart of numerous productions for William Penn Players Production, such as “The Wiz”, “Ragtime” and “Once upon This Island”.  She also took part in Perfect Will Ministries’ - “Who’s Got Your Back”.  Arielle loves God and with Him by her side, she moves one step closer to great things in the future.  She would like to thank God, her Mom and Dad, brothers, family and friends for all of their support and encouragement they have imparted to her.

 

Anthony Couch (MARKUS) is a native of Delaware and was born the youngest of five sons to the union of Elder & Mrs. Couch.  At the age of 12 he accepted the call God placed on his life and preached his Initial Sermon.  He is a member of Greater Mt. Calvary Temple COGIC where Elder B. Ivan Broomer is Pastor, where he serves as the Youth Pastor.  Anthony also is a member of “Purposely Anointed”, a singing group founded by one of his close friends.  Anthony enjoys singing, preaching, acting and ministering to the needs of the people.

 

Tyler Edwards (TRENT) a musician and athlete at heart.  "Seasons of Life" is his acting debut!  He currently is attending college and serves at his church "Word Alive Chrisitan Center".  Tyler enjoys music, playing the piano and bowling.  He also sang background on a select number of songs on the CD - "A Servant's Heart".

 

Shante Garner (QUEEN)  resides in Washington, DC and is the Site Director of a Training Institute in Newark, Delaware.  She has always been a performer at heart and began her journey as a gospel dancer in the group Anointed and Appointed in 1996.  From there, she joined a dance company called Dark Arts Dance Company in 1998 where she received extensive training and participated in several performances throughout her college career.  She graduated from University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Business Administration in 2000, but knew her true passion was in the Performing Arts.   Shante continued following her passion and extended her repertoire into modeling and acting.  She has appeared in numerous fashion shows in Delaware and Maryland and has also appeared in a local commercial.  She has been featured in four training videos as the lead actress and is now making her theater debut in “Seasons of Life”.   

Carla Jefferson  (CARMELLA)  A native of Florida but currently resides in Salem, NJ, is an actress at heart, performing in various plays and skits.  She also is a play writer, two of her own plays include: “What if you knew” and “The one true gift”.  Her latest play was performed in December 2008 at her home church, Word Alive Worship Center.

Rasheeda Johnson (FREDDIE) plays the lead role and is a multi-talented person.  She uses her gifts of singing, acting and dancing for the Lord.  Currently on the praise and worship team, at Alpha Worship Center, she serves as one of the lead vocalist.  She has served in the Youth Ministry, Dance Ministry as well as the Ministry of Worship.  Rasheeda is also active in her community, currently working as a 2009 Black Achiever through the Walnut St. YMCA

 

Angelo Pressey (STEVE) is from Delaware and attends Redeeming Grace Worldwide Ministries in Newark, DE.  Angelo is also the founder of “Purposely Anointed”, a Christian singing group that he started four years ago.  He loves ministering to people through song and enjoys acting as well.  Angelo has been apart of several plays in church as well as plays outside of church.

 

Jerry Ross (PASTOR) An actor, announcer, narrator, voiceover artist and speaker, Jerry received theatrical training at Cornell University.  He most recently appeared in the film The End of the World, a 2009 BET Short Film Contest entry.  Stage credits include The Piano Lesson, Proposals, Inspecting Carol, Fireworks, and Yes, Mamet (15-Minute Play Festival, American Globe Theatre, NYC).  Recent narration and voice work includes the documentary The Brick School Legacy, and Delta Sigma Theta’s Jabberwock Scholarship Awards program.  Jerry is also a trumpeter who has played Gospel, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Big Band, Classical, Rock, and Pop music styles.  He has been the Orchestra Director at Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, DE since 2001. Jerry is excited and humbled to be part of the 2010 tour of "Seasons of Life", is grateful for yet another opportunity to use his gifts for God’s purposes, and thanks his family for all their support.

  

Tammy Thomas (1ST LADY STELLA) is from Bridgeton, New Jersey.  She loves being a wife and mother of her two boys.  She has sung for several years at church and gospel ensembles within the US.  Tammy is active in her church choir and loves singing unto the Lord.
